English Hadith - Part 7

There's no day in which Allah sets free more souls from the fire of hell than on the day of Arafat. (Muslim)

Every nation has its festival and this is your festival. (Abu Dawud)

Allah does not look at your forms and possessions, but He looks at your hearts and your deeds. (Muslim)

Do not promise him [Muslim] something which you cannot fulfill. (Tirmidhi)

Be satisfied with what Allah has apportioned for you and you will be the richest of people. (Tirmidhi)

Prophet (PBUH) was asked about fasting for Arafa. He replied, "It expiates the sins of the previous year and of the coming year." (Muslim)

Sacrifice only a grown-up animal, unless it is difficult for you, in which case sacrifice a ram [at least six months old]. (Muslim)

He who trails his lower garment out of pride, Allah will not look towards him on the Day of Resurrection. (Muslim)

Coarse talk does not come into anything without disgracing it, and modesty does not come into anything without adoring it. (Tirmidhi)

...And when haya [modesty] is a part of anything it becomes beautiful. (Tirmidhi)
